On Saturday, while Colin and Malcolm raced in the Farnum Five, Lindzi and I took Alistair apple picking at Poverty Lane Orchards. Alistair was very interested in the farmer's golden retriever, who followed us to the apple orchard. After we picked some McIntosh apples and were heading back to the barn, we saw the tractor. As the tractor drove down the hill towards us, Alistair pointed and asked "What's that?" ("Wha da?") We were offered a lift and rode the tractor through the apple and pear orchards and back to the barn.
