Alistair loves to read books. He points to his bookshelf hutch and says "book." The books have also migrated to nearly every room in the house. He especially loves books about trucks. We had to replace two of his favorite truck books because he had read them so much the binding came apart. Last week he "read" The Very Busy Spider. While turning the pages, he made the animal sound for each animal that came to ask the spider to come play. Alistair also likes to read the newspaper (car ads), Marthe Stewart Living (car ads, pictures of dogs), and catalogues (truck themed bedding).

He is so much like Nic! We have books everywhere and he will 'read' any magazine over and over. He also adored the "very busy spider" and 'pancakes pancakes" so much they were falling apart! Love it!
