Counting

Today Alistair counted to six. It must have been lucky and said them in the correct order because Alistair is a bit young to be counting. Alistair and Alyssa were in the produce section of the grocery store. Alistair wanted some apples, so Alyssa put one in the bag and said "One." Alistair said "Two" as she put the second apple in the bag. Alyssa repeated "Two." As she put the third apple in the bag, he said "Eeee" and so on.
