"Garbage Truck on Monday"

Alistair is fascinated by the garbage truck. He talks about it all the time. He knows the garbage truck comes on Monday, but we're not sure if he understands what "Monday" means exactly. He talks about the garbage truck going "Dump, dump" as he does the hand motions of the garbage truck lifting the dumpster up over the cab. He also says "Scared garbage truck." We don't blame him, because it is loud. Today, we were walking down our street when the garbage truck came. Alistair halted in his tracks and then went straight for Alyssa. He nearly strangled her with his grasp as the garbage truck passed. The driver smiled and waved. When the danger had passed, Alistair remarked "Garbage truck loud."
