Parade on our Street

At noon today we were surprised to hear a parade coming down our street. (We used to be on the high school alumni parade route, but they changed the route a few years ago. I guess they changed it back.) Alistair enjoyed watching the marching band, old cars, and board game themed floats. He liked to wave at the people in the parade and was concerned when they dropped candy in the grass. The ambulance and fire engines bringing up the rear were also a big hit.
