First Day in the Panda Room

Today Alistair started in his new classroom at daycare. He has been visiting the Panda room for a few hours a day during the past month, so he made a beeline for the trucks when we dropped him off this morning. When Alyssa picked him up, he was having fun reading a book about trucks. He didn't want to go home, but played on the slide. He was a natural. He had a good day and took a two hour nap on a mat - we're not sure how you persuade eight or ten toddlers to sleep all at the same time in one big group. On the drive home, he talked about "Playing cars and truck in Panda room." and named all his friends (friends from his old Teddy room and friends from his new room). We were very proud of our growing little boy.
