Popham Beach State Park

We spent midday today at Popham Beach State Park, a short drive from Hermit Island. Alistair loved playing in the sand. Colin built sandcastles and Alistair smashed them with his little shovel.

When the tide had gone out, we walked out to Fox Island. Alistair liked walking through the "puddles" but he was scared of the waves. He loved running on the sand bar. The lifeguards invited Alistair to sit in their dune buggy. Alistair was very excited about that.
