"What is this?"

Recently, Alistair has been asking "What is this?" He pronounces the question so well that we smile with pride and amusement. This evening, after dinner, we were walking around the block as usual, when Alistair brought something over to Colin and asked "What is this?" Alistair was holding up a dead mouse by its tail.
